From High School to Their Wedding Day

Stella and George have been together since they were teenagers — since their high school years, long before wedding plans, venues and everything that comes with a wedding day.

Years later, they chose Thessaloniki as the setting for their wedding, celebrating at Ktima Polis surrounded by the people who had witnessed their story along the way.

There was something particularly special about photographing a couple whose relationship had grown and evolved over so many years. Their connection felt familiar and effortless, and it showed in the way they were together throughout the day.

Effortless in Front of the Camera

Some couples naturally enjoy being photographed. Stella and George were definitely one of them.

They embraced the camera, the movement and the opportunity to simply spend time together during the photographs. Rather than feeling like something separate from the day, their portraits became another part of the experience — relaxed, playful and intimate.

This gave us the freedom to create imagery that felt a little more editorial while still keeping the moments natural.

A Day in Thessaloniki

Their wedding at Ktima Polis brought together the elegance of the setting with the warmth and energy of the people around them.

From the quieter moments earlier in the day to the celebration that followed, we wanted to photograph the atmosphere as much as the obvious moments — the looks, the gestures, the laughter and the small interactions that happen naturally when two people have shared so much of their lives together.

Continuing the Story in Paris

The story didn’t end with the wedding.

For their Next Day session, they travelled to Paris, trading the atmosphere of the wedding for the streets, architecture and unmistakable character of the city.

It gave us the chance to photograph Stella and George in a completely different environment, with no timeline to follow and no expectations beyond enjoying the experience together.

Paris became another chapter of their story — more relaxed, more editorial and entirely focused on the two of them.

Years Together, Still Choosing Each Other

From two teenagers meeting in high school to a wedding day and a Parisian afternoon together, Stella and George’s story is a reminder that the most beautiful wedding photographs are often about something much bigger than the wedding itself.

They are about the years that came before, the people you become together, and the decision to keep choosing each other.
